Tony Dunkerson, 56, of Creston, died Friday, October, 21, 2016, at his home in Creston.
Time of sharing will be 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2016, at the Powers Funeral Home junction of highway 34 & 25 in Creston. Flag presentation will be provided by Theodore J. Marten's VFW Post #1797 of Creston.
Memorial visitation will be from 2 until 3:30, October 28, 2016, at the Powers Funeral Home in Creston.

Tony Lee Dunkerson was born on December 3, 1959 in Harlan, Ia., a son to Earl E. Dunkerson and Carol Ann (White) Hauser. He attended school in Creston and obtained his GED while serving his country with the United States Air Force. He was honorable discharged on October 13, 1982.
Tony lived in Union County his entire life and worked in food service at Taco Johns and The Windrow in Creston.
Tony is survived by his mother Carol Hauser of Creston; three brothers, Brian (wife Teresa) Dunkerson of Prescott, Doug Dunkerson of Creston and Craig Hauser of Creston; one sister Pam (husband Doug) Graham of Florida; half-siblings, Greg (wife Pat) Dunkerson of Perriz, Calif., Mason Dunkerson of Loveland, Colo., Rhonda Dunkerson of Boulder, Colo. and Scott Dunkerson of Denver, Colo.; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Earl Dunkerson and grandparents Earl & Inez White.
