Sherry Neisemier, 69, of Creston, died Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Greater Regional Hospice Home- HCI in Creston.
Celebration of Life Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday August 18, 2016 at the Powers Funeral Home junction of highway 34 & 25 in Creston. Pastor Mary O'Riley will officiate.
Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, south of Creston.
Open visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wed. at the Powers Funeral Home in Creston.

Sheryl Ann Neisemier, daughter of Ray A. Davis and Ella E. (Mikkelsen) Davis, was born December 9, 1946. She graduated from Creston High School in 1965. She studied for a year at the Creston Junior College. Later on, she also was trained as a dental assistant.
On June 18, 1967, Sherry married Marlin Neisemier in Creston. They settled and made their home in Creston, where Sherry continued to work with Dr. Floyd Nesbit as a dental assistant. She continued there for 27 years. She then worked for the Dr. Tilley and Dr. Buck dental practice, for 7 additional years. She retired due to health. Sherry taught Sunday School, years ago, at the United Methodist Church in Creston.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Marlin Neisemier of Creston; two daughters, Anne (husband Randy) Jackson of Menomonee Falls, Wisc. and Jill Neisemier of Creston; two grandchildren, Abbie & Tommy Jackson; a brother, Jack (wife Cheri) Davis of Creston; a sister, Marilyn (husband Robert) Carl of Sun City, Arizona; and sister-in-law, Connie Welch of Windermere , Fla.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, her sister & Brother-in-law, Janet and Bill Larkins, parents-in-law, Fred & Trudy Neisemier, brother-in-law, Ronnie Welch and a niece, Amy Webb.
